The Debt Collective is a grassroots organization that advocates for economic justice and seeks to challenge and transform the current systems of debt and finance. They are best known for their efforts to cancel student loan debt (which is how I got involved), but they are also working to eliminate carceral debt, housing debt, medical debt, grade school lunch debt, and more.

For several years I’ve been a volunteer on the Art & Design team. I create social media posts, zine layouts, protest posts, and fliers that get the word out about The Debt Collective’s mission and upcoming actions.
