About Livia

I began my career as an agency project manager, but quickly realized I was working in the wrong department. After taking night classes at The New School, freelancing, and learning as much as I could on the job, I pivoted to product design and never looked back.

My experience is primarily in joining tech teams that have not previously included a designer. I love setting up design systems, building workflows with engineers, and evangelizing design thinking company-wide.

I grew up in southwestern Connecticut (basically Stars Hollow), and currently live in Brooklyn with my partner and cat Lulu.

Things you won’t see on my resume:

  • Here are some things I’ve knit.

  • I double majored in German (my mom was born there).

  • I’ve been writing short stories since I was a little kid. I studied creative writing in college and have been a writing mentor at Girls Write Now since 2016.

  • There’s no O.

  • I like climbing, gardening, volunteering, and drinking hot sauce.
