The Debt Collective is a grassroots organization working to transform the current systems of debt and finance. They are best known for their efforts to cancel student loan debt, which is how I got involved, but are also working to eliminate carceral debt, housing debt, medical debt, and grade school lunch debt.

In 2024 I became the captain of the art & design team after volunteering for several years. I manage social and marketing graphics requests from the national team, lead meetings and assign out work, mentor younger designers, and facilitate production of our zine In The Red.
